The rise of eco-friendly vehicles such as hybrids and electric vehicles is seeing growing demand for environmental tests of devices such as secondary batteries and power semiconductors. For example, demand is growing for external short-circuit tests, nail penetration tests and other types of safety tests to ensure the high safety and stable performance needed by vehicle secondary batteries.
Our new Temperature & Humidity Chamber(for Battery test) with safety equipment was designed to meet this demand,with easy access to the specimen and comes with accident safety functions. With its temperature uniformity in the test area and high accuracy control during long continuous operation, this chamber is the ideal tester for battery&new energy testing.

1.Maintain the advantages of GP series

2.Uniform temperature distribution

Capacity of vertical airflow from the top is increased so that the air reaches every corner of the test area,realizing more uniform temperature distribution in the test area.

3.Safety features.

The chamber comes standard with safety features such as pressure relief vent, smoke detector and hand-tighten bolt door lock, 3-colored light tower etc.In addition, you can select optional features like various detectors,fire extinguisher,communication function and cable ports to suit your application.

4.More option to promote the performance

Frost-free continuous operation:The chamber comes with a frost-free function to enable long continuous operation without having to stop operation for defrosting when the temperature setting is +15°C or higher.

  • Recorder output terminal (Temp & Humidity)

    Outputs chamber temperature and humidity.

  • Potable temp recorder (Paperless)

    Records temperature and humidity of each section such as the temperature inside the chamber.

  • Humidity sensor

    Detects the humidity inside chamber.
    * Maximum value of humidity is 95%.

  • Temp recorder wiring(non-standard option)

    Preparation of a power cable,temperature sensor and a grounding wire for additional installation in the future.

  • Specimen temperature control(non-Insulated type)

    Sensors are attached to the specimen to allow exposure tests that provide temperature stress to the specimen.

  • Cable port (with rubber plug)

    A through hole provide on the wall of chamber.

  • Rubber plug for cable port

    Comes with the cable port. Prevents airleakage from the cable port.

  • Floor load reinforcement

    Used for the placement of heavy specimens or tools on the floor inside chamber .
    Supports an equally distributed load:100KG/200KG/300KG.
    *1Standard floor load reinforcement:70KG.
    *2 Chamber total load resistance:Sum of the loading weight of all shelves and the floor area loading weight.

  • Frost-free function

    Enable long-term continuous operation under a temperature setting of +15℃ or higher,without the need to interrupt for defrosting.

  • Air drying unit

    Used during longterm low-temperature operation, which can maintain the positive pressure inside chamber and ensure that no frost is formed in the test chamber.
    *Unavailable for Low Humidity Type(GPDL).

  • Airflow adjuster

    Used when tests require low airflow velocity or constant velocity.
    *Setting value range : 4 levels.

  • Continuous water supply

    Enables continuous supply of pure water for the humidifier.
    *Humidity type chamber only.

  • Alarm output terminal

    Safety device.
    Purpose: This contact signal terminal is for sending error alerts to a remote location during safety actions.
    *1 Unable to be fitted together with three Color Status indicator Warning Lights .

  • Emergency push stopbutton

    Safety device,enables manual emergency stop of the chamber.
    *Purpose:Protecting the specimens and chambers.

  • Pressure Relief Valve(as standard OP of battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: Add pressure relief valve on the top of the Chamber.Pressure relief when the internal pressure of the test chamber rises.
    Action: The Breaker will turn off and the chamber will stop When the pressure relief valve is opened.
    *1: Unavailable to install in wide view type(WV)and Low Humidity Type(GPDL).
    *2: This device can not prevent explosions and fire in the chamber.

  • Viewing Window protection(as standard OP of battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: The inner side of the Viewing Window Append Stencil.

  • Door Lock Strength(as standard OP of battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: Increase the strength of the door lock.
    Lever type or dial lock type can be selected.

  • Additional Overheat Protector

    Safety device.
    Purpose: Detect the overheating of the battery(specimen) surface.
    *Notice: The sensor is independent.

  • Smoke Sensor

    Safety device.
    Purpose: Draw the air inside the chamber. Stop the chamber operation and open the air supply and exhaust damper if the smoke had be found.

  • Air supply and exhaust damper

    Safety device.
    Purpose: Exhaust the gas inside the chamber.
    Action: Automatically open when the Overheat Protector and Smoke Sensor alarmed.

  • Fin armored heater

    Safety device.
    Purpose: A sheathed heater with fins for lower heater surface temperature ,for better corrosion resistance,and for less insulation failure.

  • Fire extinguisher device(CO2)(Option for battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: When an abnormality is detected inside chamber, the fire extinguishing device is started, and CO2 is injected into the test box to ensure the safetyinside chamber.
    *1:The chamber will occur an external machine abnormal alarm and stop running when the fire extinguishing device is abnormal.
    *2:Please contact the sales company if you need a different type of Fire Extinguishing Device.

  • Flammable gas sensor(Option for battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: When flammable gas is detected inside chamber,the corresponding actionswill be taken.
    Action Sequence: The chamber will occur an external machine abnormal alarm and stop running when the device is abnormal or the Gas Sensor occurred 1 segment alarm( 24%LEL(9600ppm)).
    The Fire Extinguishing Device will start up when the Gas Sensor occurred 2 segment alarm( 24%LEL(9600ppm)).
    *1:Please contact the sales company if you need a different type of Gas Sensor.

  • Gas sensor(CO/CO2/H2)(Option for battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: When CO/CO2/H2 gas is detected inside chamber, the corresponding actions will be taken. *Please contact the sales company for specific requirements.

  • Strong Exhaust Air Circulator(Option for battery test type)

    Safety device.
    Purpose: Exhaust the gas inside the chamber forcibly.
    Action: Automatically open when the Overheat Protector and Smoke Sensor alarmed.

  • GB specifications inspection report

    Test according to GB standard and issue test report.
    *Base on the actual machine test results and for customer reference only. The report does not have the qualification as a third-party testing agency.

  • Standard inspection report
